Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is a great fantasy book from a series of five.

Percy Jackson is an ordinary boy until he accidentally vaporises his math teacher. His mother and friend Grover (who is part goat part human) take him to Camp Half-Blood, where he finds his inner self, a half-boy half-god.

This book is about the Greek Gods and Greek myths and it was really hooking.

I recommend this book for people aged nine-thirteen and also for people who want a great read. My rating for this book is five out of five.
